Nettle Sock

Onion Yarns, imported from Denmark, believes in sustainability and utilizing natural fibers, thus their unique addition of nettle fibers into sock yarn. Nettle fiber is a very strong plant fiber and combining it with superwash wool means that you get a durable, soft, natural fiber sock without the use of nylon. The nettle fiber doesn't accept dye, so this gives the yarn a soft, heathered appearance. While intended for socks, this yarn would also work well for natural baby items, scarves and garments with a nice drape.
